Life is indeed a circle. A delicate ribbon that threads and stretches unconditionally to bind us together, in the best of times and the worst of times. And as I come to this crucial point in my life, when the tables are turned and I’m facing my mother and father—two pillars now mere shadows of themselves— these words, these equally unconditional words, echo across an ocean of time: You’ve been there for me and now I will be there for you.
